Jersey Journey to Princeton
Join us for a triple play of holiday history and fun when the Atlantic Highlands Historical Society spends a day in Princeton on Sunday, Dec. 16.
Our itinerary includes visits to:
Morven Museum & Gardens, former New Jersey governor's mansion, for the annual Festival of Trees, with galleries and porches decorated for Christmas in the 18th-century house;
Princeton University Museum of Art, with some 90,000 works spanning ancient to modern art;
and a guided walking tour of Princeton University campus.
Time will be allotted for lunch on your own. Guests are also welcome to bring their own brown-bag lunches, snacks and beverages.
Departure will be at 8:45 a.m. sharp from Strauss Mansion, 27 Prospect Circle, Atlantic Highlands, returning at approximately 6 p.m.
Cost is $75 per person (AHHS Members pay $63) and covers transportation and admissions. Advance purchase is required. Checks can be dropped off at the mansion, or mailed to PO Box 108, Atlantic Highlands, NJ, 07716. You may also pay online in our ‘SHOP’ section
