“I Hate to Write…” and so begins the diary of Edith McCormick, an Irish immigrant at the beginning of the 20th century. Paul White a Red Bank resident has used these words to title his recently published book about his great grandmother, her life and the times that surrounded her from 1902 to 1919: The Great War; her son’s death on the battlefields of France; the modern changes happening around her.
The talk will be at the Strauss Mansion Museum, 27 Prospect Circle. Paul will have his books available at that time. There will be an opportunity to speak with him and socialize after the talk.
